The young Danish soprano Frederikke Kampmann completed her Bachelors degree at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Margrete Enevold and her Masters degree at the Konservatorium Wien with Sylvia Greenberg in Vienna. From 2012 to 2014 Frederikke was in the Lied and Oratorio studio of Carolyn Hague, Angelika Kirchschlager and Birgid Steinberger.

In 2013 Frederikke received the Young Opera talent of the Year award from the Copenhagen Opera Festival, and in 2014 she was a finalist in the 5th international Antonio Cesti Early Music competition in Innsbruck, Austria.
In the 2014/15 season Frederikke made her de- but at the Wiener Kammeroper as Mariannina

in the Theater an der Wien Junges Ensemble’s critically acclaimed production of Gassmann’s Gli Uccelatori, as well as singing Florestine in Milhaud’s La mère coupable on Theater an der Wien’s main stage.

2015 also saw Frederikke’s debut as the title role in a concert version of Lucia di Lammermoor with Der Neue Merker Kammersalon in Vienna. Upcoming engagements include Pamina in Die Zauberflöte with oHpera! and the 2nd Niece in Britten’s Peter Grimes in a new production by Christof Loy at Theater an der Wien.
