Katarzyna Mizerny graduated from the Opera Academy Im. Karola Szymanowskiego Katowice in Poland in 2002. Katarzyna celebrated her debut in 2001 at Teatr Muzyczny in Gliwice.

Even though she was still a student, she sang the role of Sylvia in Die Czadasfürstin by Emmerich Kálmán with great success. Since then, she has sung Papagena and Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at Opera na Zamku w Szczecinie, Mimi in Puccini’s La Boheme in Florence, Italy and Zerlina in Mozart ́s Don Giovanni with Operassion on tour in Germany. Since 2010, Katarzyna has also been performing regularly all around Denmark, singing in opera houses like The Royal Opera House, Den Ny Opera and Den Jyske Opera.

Here, she has performed roles like Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Governess in Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw and Sandrina in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera.

Katarzyna is also a treasured concert singer and has sung several concerts with the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, including Haydn’s Creation, Faure’s and Mozart’s Requiem, and Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater. Two of the performances have also been nominated for the prestigious Danish Reumert Award.
